A home above it all

Set at the very top of the mountain within a secure community, Villa Raya catches incredible breezes and brings light, air and wide views into everyday life. Indoor and outdoor lounge areas give your group room to spread out; dining spaces bring you back together.

Spend an afternoon by the pool, gather for a barbecue at the rancho, or head into Santa Teresa. The beaches, restaurants and surf are only a five-minute drive away.

Living & dining

The heart of Villa Raya is an open-plan great room under a vaulted wood ceiling, with clerestory windows that pull in soft light all day. A deep sectional sofa, a long wooden dining table for the whole group and woven wall hangings set a relaxed tone.

Slide the glass doors open and the living room becomes one with the covered terrace and the pool beyond.

Kitchen

Warm wood cabinetry, pale counters and a long island with bar seating. There is a gas cooktop, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a blender, and the dishes and glasses for a long dinner.

Prefer not to cook? A chef can be added for breakfast, lunch and dinner. See everything on the amenities page.

Outdoor living

Beneath a warm timber canopy, a sunken conversation lounge sits inside a bed of tropical planting, beside a stacked stone wall and a floating staircase. It’s made for morning coffee, afternoon naps and long evenings together.

Around it, the covered terrace has daybeds, an outdoor living room and several places to eat, all a few steps from the pool.

Pool, garden & rancho

The pool stretches across the lawn in front of the villa, with sun loungers and tropical garden around it. As the sun drops, the Pacific glows on the horizon.

Out on the lawn, a thatched rancho shelters a barbecue counter and a table with benches. There’s also an open-air tub, an outdoor shower and a fire pit.

Rooftop

Climb the spiral staircase to a rooftop deck with views over the canopy to the ocean. Oversized lounge cushions make it the natural spot for morning yoga, stargazing or watching the sunset.

Work & unwind

Staying longer? The upstairs workspace has a proper desk, Starlink internet and glass doors that open to the roof terrace, with a quiet reading nook next door. When it’s time to log off, there’s a movie theater and a gym.

Next, meet the bedrooms or the separate Surf Shack.
